The Process - Information

Lawyer-on-line is an electronic interface between you the User (Creditor or Debtor) and the office of a qualified High Court Attorney. All the transactions will be authorised and validated by a lawyer in person to ensure that all requests are in accordance with acceptable legal practices.

It is of utmost importance that you capture all information without errors, and that you upload all supporting documents. This will ensure a smooth process, and “if” required in a Court-of-Law”. We will supply detailed instructions “how to” to assist you with technical capabilities.

Fee Structure
Rate per Letter of Demand N$ 100.00
Registered Post Actual cost plus 2.5% Admin Fee
Messenger of Court Actual cost plus 2.5% Admin Fee

Step 1 - Register as Plaintiff (click here)
Complete the required information on this section
The system will supply you with a Client Number and authorise your selected password

Step 2 - Request a “Letter of Demand”, (click here)
Proceed to the index and log in with User name and Password,
Select letter of demand on index and complete all the required information,
Select submit and the system will take you to the payment portal,
Perform payment, and your request will be submitted to the electronic office of the lawyer-on-line

Step 3 - Summons
On receipt of the letter of demand, the debtor must either pay the full outstanding amount, or arrange a payment plan with the lawyer,
If the debtor ignores the letter of demand, and do not comply with the instructions, they will be moved from system to the normal legal proceedings, on which a summons will be issued.
